But after this last storm, it&#039;s quite clear that we could take a page from Cuba about hurricane preparedness. Cuba, no stranger to hurricanes, is often cited as a model for preparedness. They have lost an order of magnitude fewer people in a half-dozen hurricanes than we will have lost in this one.
