		<description>You know, I always just assumed that Apple made a healthy bit of money on what they sold. I also assumed that when I purchased one of their products it was worth it to me. Finding out that the physical cost of an iPod is around 1/3 of what I&#039;m paying doesn&#039;t really impact me at all. I&#039;d still make the same purchases if I had it to do all over again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Right now I&#039;m living overseas and I see a lot of cheap Chinese knockoffs. I&#039;ve had people say something to the effect of: it&#039;s just as good as an iPod and costs just a fraction. My response is: have you actually compared the &quot;use&quot;of the two products?

		<description>I&#039;m actually surprised at just how expensive the pieces of the iPod are.  I would have guessed iPod buyers to be paying significantly more for the &quot;intangibles&quot; than they actually are.
