I want to play a game with you…

The four young adults in this picture are politically active college students preparing for a televised debate.

The four comprise: two Republicans, one Democrat and one Big-L Libertarian.

Care to guess who’s who?

I know who! But I'm not telling!

If something could be both mildly depressing and amusing at the same time, this would fit the bill. Love the Krugman/O'reilly line, by the way.

I guessed wrong, but I feel silly after looking at the answer.

I recently took a look at the campus Libertarians from my school. They match this picture, except more.

    I loved that line also.

I think I had it right.

Those silly Republicans. I've never seen so many people look so good while saying absolutely nothing of substance. ;)

    I guessed correctly. :)

I had the guy in the white shirt as a democrat and the red collared shirt guy as a repub. I nailed the libertarian though!

    edit: I mis-read I nailed them all!

How's this for the stero-type meme: I came up with a few different possibilities, and was uncertain as to which was was correct. When I looked up the answer, it fit one of the possibilities I had tossed around, and I said, "Yep, I thought so. It figures."

Oh Kip, this is too easy.

Fortunately, I doubt the Libertarian is a *gay* Libertarian. ;)

The Libertarian isn't gay… but the Dem (me) is. :)

Let me guess. Brian has never leafed through a copy of A BEAR'S LIFE, has he?

  • Link Brian Miller // Nov 29, 2007 at 2:09 pm

Sure I have. But I know very few college-aged bears, and even fewer college-aged bear Libertarians. ;)

  • Link MikeC&F // Dec 1, 2007 at 6:44 pm

    From left to right: L, R, D, D.

    Now let's see how I did….

  • Link MikeC&F // Dec 1, 2007 at 6:54 pm

Oops, thought it was two "Ds" rather than "Rs." I still think the dude on the far right looks like a D. 3 out of 4 ain't bad, and if I would have read the instructions properly, I certainly would have gotten 4 of 4, as the bear and chick were obvious. Alas.

Incidentally, my wife told me she was into "hippie" fashion. She would buy expensive shirts in conformity with that fashion. (Anthropolie is the big store for that.) To which I replied: "Babe, I am the real hippie. I don't match my clothes or care what my shoes look like. My only requirement is that my clothing be clean." If that doesn't reflect a truly free spirit, what does?

Incidentally, having dated quite a few R chicks, I can say that that the R girl's conservative outfit is a ruse! ;-)
