		<description>While I agree with you on the big picture impact of the San Diego County Registrar allowing employees to opt-out of performing same-sex marriage, I gotta give props to the registrar himself for making plans to ensure that willing employees will be on hand to do these first marriages without incident or day-marring protest.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actually, after looking at some of the options up and down the coast, I gotta give him props for even continuing to do marriages at all under the current budget climate.  Several counties have stopped (unrelated to same-sex marriage) and simply give out the licenses and make the couple find a separate official and venue.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I suspect the reluctant employee problem will be sorted out pretty quickly once the unions get involved.
