    I can certainly understand your desire to show how problematic government ownership or control of the auto industry would be.

    But please don't rush to judgment to do it. All we know from the news story is that the man was a sex offender – not what he did, let alone whether it involved children or whether he is believed to be dangerous now. Without more information, I canm only assume that it's the same kind of grandstanding and paranoia that inspires things like Halloween restrictions and many residency restrictions for sex offenders.

    Also, as far as I can tell the Postal Service didn't hire him, he was a volunteer.
