An Inaugural Eve Economic Policy Thought
In the form of a comment left here:
We have had eight years (arguably more) of an administration that has defined “economic strength” solely in terms of consumption, without any regard for where the goods and services came from or how they were paid for.
Now we will have eight years (arguably more) of an administration that has defined “economic strength” solely in terms of jobs, without any regard for what those jobs are or how they will be paid for.
And the notion that “economic strength” might, just might, be best defined in terms of production, is dismissed by a Nobel laureate (slumming as a partisan mouthpiece) as “supply side voodoo.”
Change we can believe in? Who’s “we”?
