- A Laffer Curve (or mini-AIG) anecdote — people respond to tax policies, especially ones such as 100% tax rates: http://snipr.com/ege7n #
- Never been a fan of TIPS per se, but zero-coupon TIPS are more intriguing. If you want “inflation protection,” why dilute it with coupons? #
- Next item on the agenda: the federalization of usury laws (which are an affront to a free society of competent adults) – http://is.gd/oHh7 #
- Remind me again how it’s gays who are the ones “threatening violence” in the wake of Prop 8 et al? http://snipr.com/egkf3 #
- Was almost hoping Che Frank’s “Will you grow up?” remark was intended for Geithner (it was for some sign-carrying nutjobs in the gallery). #
- Guess the Congress-Bimbo: “Your CEO…” TG: “My CEO?” CB:”Your CEO.” TG: “I don’t understand…” CB: “Just answer my question!” Good grief. #
- Maloney cut off Geithner because “you’re taking up my time.” Isn’t the point to here what Geithner has to say? Unbelievable. #
- Meanwhile, who is that “Ron Paul in drag” M.C. who is demanding to know “where in the Constitution” the power to bail out derives from? #
- P.S. It was Michelle Bachmann (who, like Ron Paul, is a flaming anti-gay bigot posing as a quasi-libertarian). #
- News flash, brainiac: Newspapers already can operate as non-profits. Almost anything can operate as a non-profit. http://snipr.com/egst1 #
- “…in Washington, to ‘slash’ means to increase spending 6%…” http://snipr.com/ehtyd #
